S/Y Quest

S/Y Quest: Built for Ocean Exploration and Dive Adventures

S/Y Quest is a remarkably spacious 64-foot steel-hulled expedition yacht, 16.7 feet wide, purpose-built for both sailing and dive charters. Designed with long-range, off-grid expeditions in mind, she combines the comfort of a cruising yacht with the capability of a professional dive vessel.

What truly sets Quest apart is her construction: her welds are certified to Level 4 — the same classification used on icebreakers — and she has been surveyed and approved by the Swedish Maritime Authority for operations in some of the world’s most extreme environments, including the Southern Ocean and Antarctica. These standards ensure maximum hull integrity and safety in polar conditions.

Quest’s dive deck is highly unique for a vessel of her size. Featuring dual tank racks with fill stations, divers can leave their BCDs and tanks in place for easy, efficient refills. A central camera table and a dedicated 80-liter rinse bin cater to underwater photographers, while the custom-built dive ladder ensures smooth entry and exit from the water. The entire dive area and cockpit are fully shaded with a fixed sun awning for comfort between dives.

The cockpit seats ten comfortably, with plush, custom cushions, and the wide flush side decks provide walk-around access typically found only on much larger vessels. A sun-shade covers the cockpit ensuring comfortable dining on sunny days.

Whether you're sailing through the Caribbean, crossing oceans, or preparing for high-latitude expeditions, S/Y Quest is the perfect fusion of ocean-going strength and full dive support — ready to take you wherever your exploration spirit leads.

Comfortable Accommodation Aboard S/Y Quest

S/Y Quest accommodates up to 6 guests in three twin cabins, each designed for comfort and practicality at sea. With a maximum of 9 people on board — 6 guests and 3 crew — the atmosphere is always spacious and uncrowded.

Each cabin features one upper and one lower sea-going berth, both equipped with individual reading lights and a small foot-end shelf for personal items, along with a dedicated fan for comfort. Additional storage is available in a personal locker, beneath the lower bunk, and via two convenient coat hooks.

The ventilation consists of overhead deck hatches, dorade vents, and fans in every cabin, ensuring a constant flow of fresh air in all weather.

There are two shared bathrooms on board, each with hot and cold freshwater showers.

There is access to unlimited fresh water. The water-maker can produce up to 5000 liters per day.

There are two fridges onboard, a freezer, European (Type E/F Schuko) and American outlets (Type B) for charging electronics. Quest is powered by solarpanels, and a 16kw generator.

She is equipped with floor heating throughout the interior, ensuring a warm and cozy climate even in the coldest environments. This dry heat system eliminates condensation, keeping the living spaces comfortable and moisture-free — a crucial feature for high-latitude expeditions.

The saloon comfortably seats up to 8 people, with natural light and fresh breezes entering through open hatches and port lights. Fans provide extra airflow, creating a cool and welcoming space to gather, dine, or relax after a day of adventure.
